Our mission at ViLi (which stands for Vibrant Life) is to help make it easier for the special needs community to use their local businesses. The barrier to access we hope to alleviate is the lack of advance information about various attributes of individual businesses which may negatively affect the experience of someone with special needs. Our solution is to crowdsource reviews and ratings of local establishments based off criteria relating to potentially problematic business attributes. The app then scores each establishment and provides the information free in an open source platform. By allowing users to filter businesses based on different accessibility criteria, we provide them with the knowledge they need to better navigate their communities. Here at ViLi we believe that life is vibrant, and it should be vibrant for everyone.
